Eloped in the Red River Gorge

This couple is so sweet…they have a quiet aura that surrounds them…or at least they did on this particular (and very special day).  Dave and I met up with them at the Gallery 33 parking lot on a Monday about an hour before the sun was to set.  The lighting was beautiful and soft…just like them..so I knew this was going to be a lovely session.  We drove around the gorge and stopped at some great little spots for photos.  Dave was there to relax them while I watched through my viewfinder and snapped appropriately.  We ended up at the ceremony site where Dave did what he does best…relaxed the couple with a few smiles and a couple of funny lines (he’s great at that…I love him so much) and then, almost without them realizing it, the ceremony had begun.  Perfection.
