Mini-Wedding

Loved this couple!  They met up with us for a scouting location session earlier this past summer and left with some healthy treats from Dave’s garden and a not so healthy (but oh so yummy) mini-cake from me!  I happened to be baking a cake for another wedding on the day of their scouting trip and had enough batter left over for a tiny, tiny cake…and it happened to be the same flavor as the cake they had ordered for their wedding…so why not?  It saved me from eating it!

They met up with me at the Gallery about an hour before their ceremony and we drove around the gorge to take photos.  Dave met up with the wedding guest in the ceremony site parking lot and hiked them on down the trail…with us following about 15 minutes behind.  As usual, we made it to the ceremony site at the precise and perfect time (we do many of these sunset weddings and have this time thing pegged).  Beautiful sunset, happy wedding guest and perfect smiles made for a lovely ceremony.  Afterwards everyone headed back to the ceremony for food, music and great conversations.
