Rick and Sarah

This was a wedding where Dave and I are reminded of how much we love what we do.

I remember when I first received an email from Sarah…I knew I wanted to make her day extra special simply because of her signature…she is a volunteer at The Way Home Rescue Alliance in Lexington, Kentucky.  It’s folks like her that give hope to animals who find themselves in an animal shelter, afraid and confused.  I could tell she was a good-hearted person from the get go!

After months of planning, Saturday arrived and the weather was simply perfect.  And with her mother smiling down on her, Sarah and her dad made their way down the aisle where Rick…the handsome groom, waited for them.  Rick.  Rick, Rick, Rick…oh he is the ying to Sarah’s yang.  It’s hard not to like this quiet guy…even when he makes me walk a 1/4 of a mile with 17.6 pounds on my hips!  Most important…he adores and admires Sarah…you can tell by the way he watches her.  I hope I was able to capture that on film.

Perfect day.  Perfect couple.  Perfect wedding guest…yep…I love what I do.
